Founders start exploring how to apply the collaborative problem-solving and outcome measurement approaches they developed in the corporate world to social problems.
- 2017
Launch of Huber Social, a social enterprise aimed at improving the wellbeing of communities.
- 2018
Ideas surface within Huber Social about making the measurement approach accessible across sectors and communities, and an MVP of the network, the Huber Social Wellbeing Data Centre, is launched at the United Nations World Data Forum in Dubai.
- 2019
Collaboration with Oxford University Blavatnik School of Government established. Huber Social CEO presents at the Oxford Social Outcomes Conference and the UN FAO Annual Conference in Rome.
- 2021
Huber Social are lead authors of the Handbook for Measuring and Valuing Social Impact for Standards Australia, only the second such guide published globally.
- 2022
Huber Social reaches 100 projects delivered across 10 countries; clients span the private, public and not-for-profit sectors.
- 2023
Huber Social become co-conveners of the Wellbeing Economy Alliance Australia Hub, and set out to maximise the impact of measurement through collaboration and data sharing: the Wellbeing Impact Intelligence Network.
- 2025
Huber Social expands to Brazil under the name Social Impact Brazil.
- 2026
Development of the WIIN platform begins, and a global campaign opens the network to the world: people adding their voices, organisations measuring with the people they serve, and funders directing resources by evidence.
